Taylor Garron is a writer, actor, director, and stand-up based in Brooklyn. She is incredibly funny, cool, interesting, hot, and humble.

During the pandemic, Taylor wrote, co-directed, and starred in her first feature film As Of Yet, produced by Duplass Bros Productions. The film took home the Nora Ephron Award at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and is basically the coolest thing she’s done so far, career-wise.

You may also recognize her from her roles as editor for The Onion’s original podcast The Topical, writing consultant for Adult Swim’s Soft Focus With Jena Friedman, and deputy editor for Reductress. She has also bravely written for The New Yorker, Vulture, CollegeHumor, and VICE.

Her debut book Look I Bought Plants, a collection of satirical, irreverent poetry that she co-wrote with Eva Victor, was published in May 2021, which is kinda sick. Catch her every Friday on Vulture’s Instagram Live interviewing her favorite comedians for her weekly Follow Friday feature. She was also a cast member on the PBS Kids shows ZOOM and Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman, and she refuses to let anyone forget it. Taylor’s a lot of fun and you would like her in real life and she’d probably like you too because she’s pretty open minded.

What can I say about Taylor? I have never met a young woman more talented, more hungry, or more uniquely prepared to be the next big thing in Hollywood.
